Connecting our students with the world of telecommunications

At Proyecto PECES, Inc., we are proud to offer educational experiences that broaden our students' horizons and prepare them for real-world career opportunities. One of our most outstanding initiatives is the Broadband Career Exploration Program, developed in collaboration with LibertyPR and the Liberty Foundation, thanks to the support of the Puerto Rico Broadband Program – Community Champions.

During the program, our students visited LibertyPR facilities where video, internet, and telephone services are controlled and monitored. Technical professionals shared their knowledge of equipment operation and showcased the wide range of career opportunities in the telecommunications industry. The students gained an understanding of how technology and human talent work together to keep Puerto Rico connected.

They also had the opportunity to visit LibertyPR's legal division, learning about the roles of attorneys and paralegals within the company, from drafting contracts to ensuring regulatory compliance in a highly regulated sector. The experience concluded with an inspiring message: to continue studying and preparing themselves to reach their full personal and professional potential.

This program not only provided practical knowledge, but also vision, motivation, and hope for a professional future full of possibilities.
